복부 비만을 예방하는 3가지 방법!
수많은 비만종류 중에서 복부비만이란 내장 부근에 지방이 축적되어 생기는 것으로 비만의 한 형태를 말합니다. 복부비만은 보통 피하지방형과 내장지방형으로 나뉘는데, 뱃살이 손에 잡힐 정도의 비만이 피하지방형이고 장과 장 사이에 지방이 많은 경우를 내장지방형이라고 말합니다.복부 비만의 측정은 엉덩이 둘레를 1로 하였을 때 허리 둘레 비율로 비교해 여자는 0.86이상 남자는 0.95이상일 경우를 복부 비만이라 말합니다. 이번 글에서는 복부 비만을 예방하는 방법에 대해 이야기하고자 합니다.
1. 식사요법을 통한 복부 비만 예방- 지방 섭취는 금물!!지방은 혈관에 노폐물을 쌓이게 하기 때문에 좋지 않습니다. 특히 트렌스지방을 주의해야 하며 닭고기의 껍질 부분이나 크로와상이나 도너츠 등 밀가루에 튀긴 음식을 피해야 합니다. 그러나 지나치게 지방을 적게 먹으면 상대적으로 탄수화물의 섭취가 많아져서 중성 지방의 수치가 올라가고 내장 지방이 증가하는 등 문제가 생기므로 조금만 드셔야 합니다.- 달고 짠 음식도 피한다!!단 음식에 들어 있는 단순당은 몸에서 지방으로 변화되어 체지방으로 축적되기 쉽습니다. 또한, 소금을 하루 5g이상 먹으면 몸 속에 수분을 고이게 하여 염분을 희석시키려 한다. 이러한 점은 복부 비만의 원인이므로 주의해야 합니다.- 과음은 절대 금지!!술을 많이 마시면 내장에 쉽게 지방이 쌓여 복부 비만의 원인이 됩니다. 따라서 지나친 음주를 삼가야 합니다. 술을 마시지 않으면 더욱 좋지만 그렇지 못할 경우에는 주 1회~2회 정도로 마시는 용량을 제한할 필요가 있습니다.
- 식이섬유를 많이!!식이섬유는 천천히 소화되어 장시간 포만감을 주기 때문에 배고픔을 덜 느끼게 됩니다. 또 인슐린 분비를 억제하고 복부에 피하지방이 쌍이는 것을 막아주기 때문에 뱃살을 빼는데 없어서는 안될 식품입니다. 야채나 해조류, 콩류, 감자 등에 많이 들어 있습니다.- 물을 많이 마시자!!근육 조직이 지방을 연소시킬때 산소가 필요한데 물에는 산소가 녹아 있으므로 물을 마시면 몸 속 산소량이 증가하여 신진대사가 활발해 집니다. 또 물이 부족하면 몸이 지치기 때문에 운동할 때에도 힘이 많이 들게 됩니다.- 식후에는 차를!!찻잎에는 비타민C가 풍부하여 지방의 산화를 촉진시켜줍니다. 특히, 녹차와 홍차에는 탄닌 성분이 들어 있어서 지방 분해에 효과적이며, 또한 식후에 차를 마시면 지방의 흡수를 억제해주기 때문에 내장 지방이 쌓이는 것을 막아줍니다.
2. 운동요법을 통한 복부 비만 예방- 유산소 운동을 하자!!복부 비만에 가장 효과적인 운동이 바로 유산소 운동입니다. 큰 근육을 쉬지 않고 지속적으로 움직이게 하는 것이 복부 비만에 가장 좋은 운동입니다. 걷기, 달리기, 자전거타기 등 자신에게 맞는 유산소 운동을 선택하여 실행하는 것이 좋으며, 일주일에 적어도 3~4회 정도 운동하고 3개월 이상 꾸준하게 해야 효과를 볼 수 있습니다. 시간이 없는 경우에는 출 퇴근 시간을 이용하여 걷는 것도 괜찮을것 같습니다.- 윗몸 일으키기!!윗몸 일으키기와 같은 복근 운동은 일반적으로 뱃살 빼기에 효과적이며, 실제로는 지방을 분해시키는 효과는 적은 편입니다. 게다가 뱃살이 많이 나온 사람이 갑작스럽게 복근 운동을 하면 허리에 무리가 가기 쉽습니다. 그러나 윗몸 일으키기는 복근을 단단하게 하는 효과가 있어 유산소 운동 후 5분 정도 윗몸 일으키기를 하는 것이 바람직합니다.
3. 간단한 일상 생활로 복부 비만 예방하기- 수면은 충분히, 잠은 일찍!!잠자는 동안에는 성장 호르몬의 영향으로 지방의 대사가 촉진됩니다. 성장기 아동 뿐만 아니라 어른도 마찬가지이고, 일찍 자면 야식을 먹을 염려도 줄어들게 되어 일석 이조가 되는 예방입니다.- 복식호흡 보다는 흉식 호흡!!복식 호흡보다 흉식 호흡을 하여 흉곽을 충분히 움직여주며 가슴으로 호흡하면 폐활량이 늘어난다고 합니다. 흉식 호흡은 뱃살을 없애주는데 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라 건강에도 좋습니다.
